Terms of service
1. Overview
Welcome to Voltronix Africa. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.voltronixafrica.com (the "Store") and any related services we provide. By accessing, browsing, or buying from the Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Contact Information, and Legal Notice, each of which forms part of these Terms.
The Store is operated by Voltronix SA (Pty) Ltd, trading as Voltronix Africa, Registration Number 2026/212584/07, of Shop G1, 112 Industrial Road, Amalgam, Johannesburg, 2092, South Africa.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. You confirm that the information you provide is true, current, and complete, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. Products and descriptions
We do our best to describe and depict our products accurately. Photographs are illustrative and actual products may vary slightly in appearance, packaging, or specification due to manufacturer revisions. Manufacturer technical data sheets prevail over storefront descriptions. We reserve the right to correct errors, change product details, or discontinue products at any time without notice.
4. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is only accepted once we have received cleared payment and sent you an order confirmation. We may decline any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, pricing is incorrect, or we suspect fraud. If we cannot accept an order we will refund any payment in full.
5. Prices, payment, and VAT
Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and where applicable include VAT at the prevailing rate. Prices and promotions may change without notice. The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order and confirmed in your order confirmation. Shipping is charged in addition to the product price and is calculated at checkout based on order weight, as set out in our Shipping Policy.
We accept payment through the methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
6. Shipping and delivery
Shipping, delivery timeframes, costs, and carriers are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when the courier delivers the parcel to you or your representative.
7. Returns, refunds, and exchanges
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
8. Warranties
All products sold carry the manufacturer's warranty as supplied with the product. The duration and terms of warranty are determined by the manufacturer. Warranty claims must be supported by your invoice and the original packaging where possible.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Store, including text, images, logos, designs, and product descriptions, is owned by Voltronix Africa or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any part of the Store without our prior written consent. Manufacturer brand names and logos shown on the Store remain the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell.
10. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Store only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Store to transmit harmful code, to scrape or extract data for commercial use, to impersonate any person, to engage in fraud, or to interfere with the Store's operation. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if we believe you have breached these Terms.
11. Third-party links
The Store may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Store is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Voltronix Africa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Store or the products purchased through it. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Voltronix Africa, its directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Store.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page. Continued use of the Store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Store.
17. Consumer Protection Act and dispute resolution
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. If you have a complaint that we have not been able to resolve directly, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) at www.cgso.org.za, or the National Consumer Commission (NCC).
